Can birds fly in a Vacuum?
Birds cannot fly in a vacuum. When a bird flies in the sky, its wings exert force on the air below the wings. Wind also exerts equal and opposite reaction forces on the bird’s wings. Part of this reaction force helps the bird to fly forward and float. A bird flapping its wings in a vacuum does not produce a reaction force. So birds cannot fly in a vacuum.
We know that space is a vacuum. So birds can not fly in space for the same reason.
