Difference Between Vapour and Gas

Answer: Every gaseous substance has a specific temperature. At or below the temperature at which pressure can be applied to a gas to turn it into a liquid. This particular temperature is called the critical temperature of the gas. A liquid in its gaseous state below the critical temperature is called a vapour and above the critical temperature is called a gas.
