Why is it easier to push a moving roller than a stationary roller?

The stationary roller wants to stay stationary for stability. If you try to move the roller, the stability of the roller prevents it. So more force is required to accelerate it. But the moving roller tries to maintain its dynamic state for acceleration. As a result, if a small force is applied to the roller in that condition, the speed of the roller increases. So a moving roller is easier to push than a stationary roller.
