Why does sawing in wood produce two different sounds?

Why does sawing in wood produce a coarse sound when sawing slowly and a sharp sound when sawing quickly?

Answer: When sawing through wood, a coarser sound is heard if the saw is moved slowly because the frequency is lower. But if the saw is run quickly i.e. fast, the frequency increases and the sharp sound is heard.
